Partnership
It’s important to be a part of a spiritual family. If not with us, we encourage you to join a local church that believes the Bible. When we use the term “partnership” we are referring to what most churches refer to as “membership.” The change in language isn’t merely to be different, but to better communicate what we mean by officially aligning ourselves with a church body. As followers of Christ, we join a church to come on board with its mission, not to gain benefits. So we believe “partnership” says it better.
We ask people to commit to church partnership for several reasons:
1. A Biblical Reason: Christ is committed to the church.
“…Christ loved the church, and gave himself up for her.” – Ephesians 5:25
2. A Cultural Reason: our society is generally anti-commitment.
We live in an age when people resist being committed to anything – a job, a marriage, and a church. This attitude has even produced a generation of “church shoppers and hoppers.” Partnership swims against the current of America’s consumer religion. It’s an unselfish decision. Commitment always builds character.
3. A Practical Reason: it defines those upon whom we can depend.
Every team must have a roster. Every school must have an enrollment. Every business has a payroll. Even our country takes a census and requires voter registration. Partnership defines our family.
4. A Personal Reason: it produces spiritual growth.
The Bible emphasizes the need for Christians to be accountable to each other for spiritual growth. You cannot be accountable when you’re not committed.

This 2-hour class, usually held on Sunday nights, includes teaching, a time to get to know one another, and a time to share your testimony with Arrowhead elders. The format is intentionally laid out to help you get to know the church and to help the church get to know you.
